TECHNOLOGY INVENTORY RESULTS
Welcome to the Results section of "Where We Stand in 2001". MBRT and MSDE are pleased to be able to offer this information online to the public. The information here is the most up-to-date information currently available on technology resources in Maryland Schools as of December 2000. You will find a wealth of information that has been compiled and aggregated from individual schools to local school districts to the entire state of Maryland.
About the Data
Reasonable and prudent steps have been taken to insure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of the data. Data was entered by individual school representatives using a secure web interface between October and December 2000. Individual school data was reviewed and approved by the school principal. Local school district technology coordinators reviewed and approved information for schools in their districts.
MBRT and MSDE anticipate that the new system will allow for more efficient and regular updates of state information on technology resources in Maryland schools and also provide a dynamic resource for monitoring progress on the Maryland State Plan for Technology in Education.
